Artist's Comments

When I was taking this art class, before we were supposed to be working on figures, our art teacher brought out this poor old skeleton who was missing both arms and half a leg and wanted us to do sort of rough drawings of the skeleton to get an idea of the frame upon which to build the figures for our drawings. Well, I figured a.) I know how to do that, b.) it would be kind of boring, so I decided to just draw the skeleton. This is a photo from my art pad. 20 minutes or so, graphite on newsprint.

Yeah. If you sqint, you can see where I'd started drawing the pelvis and spine on the next page. I like bones. :D
